Lemon, Honey Chicken is perfect for weeknights, dinner in a snap! Chicken breast lightly coated in simple marinade, pan fried until golden and served with a gorgeous honey lemon sauce. Ingredients:
  • 500 g boneless chicken breast.
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chopped spring onions
  • Seeded chopped chillies
  • oil for frying
Marinate:
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 pepper 
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 egg
Lemon, Honey Sauce:
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp plum sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn starch

Instructions:
  1. Pat the chicken dry. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces and put it into a mixing bowl. 
  2. Toss in the marinate ingredients onto the chicken breast meat and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hours or overnight.
  3. When its ready, using long-handled tongs, pan fry or deep fry the chicken marinade over medium heat till golden brown. 
  4. Dish out and drain the oil on paper.
For the sauce:
  1. Pour in the lemon honey sauce in a saucepan and bring to a light simmer. Give it a quick stir until the sauce bubbles. 
  2. To serve, pour sauce over the chicken and garnish with sesame seeds, spring onion and chilli.
